A school task, which is about putting elements from fifteen different photos, which were originally photographed by one of my art teachers. Limited editing done in photoshop.
How and why this picture?
The concept of this picture is not about popularity, but on how far one can go, when it comes to identity and materialism. The masks are representing your only form of identity, a mass-produced product, which most likely thousands of others have. The character (with the fanciest mask) is always around, recommending an encountered character to accept the situation, like many other customers. Since it has the fanciest mask, it doesn't need a face, nor a head. He represents a belief that having the best look solves everything, buying the best (and expensive?) clothings to feel better on the inside. Trying to make everyone follow his way and no other.
I will probably update this, whenever I see something, which could be fixed. Again, some editing were allowed.
